(Power Supplies safety for Russia, Belorussia, Kazakh) Regulated by Customs Alliance
According to the agreement signed by Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan on October 18, 2010, the "Common Norms and Rules on the Technical Specifications of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, and the Russian Federation", the Customs Union Commission is committed to formulating uniform standards and requirements to ensure product safety. A certification to three countries, thus forming the CU-TR certification of the Russian-Belarusian-Kazakh Customs Union and unified mark as EAC.
Technical regulations of the Customs Union conformity certificates / declarations of conformity (referred to as Custom Union TR Certificate, or CU-TR, CU certification), the Customs Union TR certificate is also called EAC certification because the mark is EAC.
In order to make trade between the Union countries easier, and to avoid technical and regulatory barriers to import and export products in this customs union, the Customs Union legislates to issue mandatory Customs Union TR technical regulations certificate, which is applicable to: Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
From February 15, 2013, it is mandatory to apply for CU-TR certification for products within the certification scope of the Russian-Belarusian-Kazakhstan Customs Union (CU). As of March 15, 2013, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus have stopped issuing GOST certificates under their old regulations.
EAC Regulations
The Technical Specification Directive certified by the Customs Union was formally implemented on February 15, 2013, and the certificate is valid for a maximum of 5 years. It will gradually replace the original certification systems of each member country, such as Russia’s GOST-R certification, GOST-TR certification, Kazakhstan’s GOST-K certification and Belarus’ GOST-B certification, and conduct unified certificate filing management.
EAC TP TC004 regulations are for low-voltage equipment under the Russian EAC certification system are aimed at ensuring the safety of low-voltage equipment in use. It is suitable for electrical equipment between AC 50V~1000V and DC 75V~1500V, covering all electrical equipment or some equipped fixed electrical device that was implemented from 2013/2/15.
